Individual Therapy

Many people come to see me because they want to do life differently, experience their relationships more fully, work on personal growth or heal from wounds of their past or present.

Some people feel “stuck” in their current feelings and circumstances and are not sure where to turn next. You don’t have to know exactly why you’re seeking counseling to start. In our beginning sessions, I will get a sense of what may be helpful for you and can make suggestions that you get to choose from based on what feels best to you. These are your sessions, and my goal is to be as supportive and helpful as possible. You are in the driver’s seat while I am your trusty co-pilot holding the roadmap and cheering you on each step of the way.

For individual therapy, I work with a wide range of issues and truly seek to develop a relationship that fosters hope and healing. I am all about meeting people where they’re at with no judgement, just empathy and a listening heart. I am in this with you. My goal in using a strength-based approach is to help you acknowledge your self-worth while joining with you in changing your current experience and working to create the life you want to live. I utilize EMDR, DBT, and talk therapy to help clients realign their choices with their values and discover their identity. This is a collaborative process that is fluid and will meet your individual needs.
